Permanent Artwork for St. Luke’s Hospital’s Newest Wing
I’ve had the wonderful invitation by Jordan Sundberg of Tin Cup Design and St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, Minnesota, to provide permanent artwork for their new obstetrics and gynecology department. What an amazing opportunity. This project was a labor of love that came together seamlessly. When the landscape you love and live within calls you to paint it each and every year and the brief asks for as many images of the Northern Minnesota landscape as you have…well the result is going to be grand. This was a mid-career artist win for me. I’ve needed the years of studio practice and the building of my portfolio to be able to take on a project of this size. It all came together. And what a joy for Jordan and I to be able to work together yet again after the Fables of the North Shore project! This was an exciting endeavor that I’m very grateful for. I hope to do more of this work in the future. It’s wonderful to have permanent work displayed in the community. Thank you to St. Luke’s and to Tin Cup Design!
